Over six weeks in the Spring of 2009 we ran an evening programme of lectures at the studio for 25 animation students and recent graduates. The lectures focused on a variety of approaches for animators to consider with regard to planning animation and the analysis of various existing works.

Seven young animators from Ireland, France, Italy & Sweden were selected to join the team at the studio while work continued on our short film "Donkey" and our feature "Little Caribou". In addition to providing production support to these projects at the studio these artists also viewed various animation related lectures. Their principal focus has been their own animation test or short film project which they have used to improve their skills in the areas of draftsmanship, motion analysis and character performance.
